Have eaten here a number of times and the food is always excellent. The salmon is amazing, especially considering the location. Beef entrees are excellent as well. Love the baked potatoes. Crisp, fresh dinner salads with fresh bread. Can't wait to return!
Got here right at 5pm when they opened. Ordered the prime rib and was not disappointed! I say in the lounge and the server was very pleasant and attentive. Will definitely be stopping here again when traveling through!
A friend who used to live in Lakeview recommended we try one of Mario's steaks. We were not disappointed – in fact it may just be the best steak I've ever had. The filet was tender, juicy and very reasonably priced. My only regret was I didn't try Mario's special sauce. Will do next time!

We went to this restaurant last summer while in lakeview for a break from city life. We LOVED our meal. The steak was one of the best I've had, and the service was friendly. I am surprised to see negative reviews here, as we have been fantasizing about returning next summer in no small part so that we can return to Mario's and get another amazing and affordable steak.
