Fearless Brewing Co
Reviews
Fantastic beer and the burger is excellent to match. This is a great après paddling spot for the Clackamas River area and also a great opportunity to taste the Scottish and Loki fresh off the taps.
My wife and I stopped in for drinks and a bowl of soup after a soak at Bagby. The Hungarian Mushroom soup was excellent and the waitress (maybe the owner?) unexpectedly shared the recipe with us! We've made it twice in the two weeks since visiting. You'll see a lot of posters about the Loki Red Ale; don't miss it. We took a couple of four packs home with us. More than anything, I was very impressed by the prices. As mentioned by another reviewer, our taster flight ended up being cheaper per oz than a pint (something I don't often see elsewhere). I think their prices have to be some of the lowest brewery prices I've seen in the PNW.
The beer is extraordinary, the owners are a hoot, and the food and atmosphere are the best. What a perfect place to go to or come while playing in the Mt. Hood Wilderness area or even just to kick back?!?
Stopped in to have a taster, which I discovered to be incredibly generous, as you get about 6 ounces or so, compared to 2 or 3 at most breweries. That might lead you to think the beer isn't good, but I'd say it is better than average for Oregon - which is saying a lot! Prices are reasonable for growlers, too. As for food, well, I can't say much except that the sweat potato fries I ordered were tasty, and the service was both fast and friendly.
Not sure why all the negative reviews. My guess is they are fake or yuppie folk from portland that're probably pretty darned lost if they're out in Estacada. I take friends from out of town here, their beer is good and the food is pretty tasty in my opinion. The peach ale thing is a favorite. You'd think from the reviews they'll punch ya when ya walk in, but in the last few years of going every couple months I find that rather hard to believe. I like the joint and recommend it to friends. Go later in the day an hour or two before they close and the place is all yours.
