The Loft Restaurant and Bar
Reviews
- The food is very good, and its presented nicely. Some entrees may have been decorated a little too much but no big deal. - The decor is of higher class than other restaurants in the area. Small dining area with a small bar with lots of wine and art. - Service was good and knowledgeable about the food. This place isn't cheap. You are looking at $100.00 for 2 people for a 3 course meal. Would I go back? Yes. Try the butterfish, its unique and delicious.
In June we tried to dine at The Loft in Bandon, but the evening we were there, a family with small children absolutely ruined it because they allowed their kids to run wild, both inside the small restaurant and outside on the deck. So noisy, so disruptive were these children, so uncaring were the parents, that we left without taking our (reserved) seats. To our gratification, upon our return home we found a phone message apologizing for the behavior of these very disruptive patrons. So this month we tried The Loft again. Superb food, very congenial surroundings. Parents, this is NOT a burger joint; if you must have a playground for your children, take them to McDonald’s. But if you want a civilized meal with other congenial adults, a meal that has been prepared with artistic skill and that has been served with attention and finesse, you cannot do better in Bandon than The Loft.
Not worth the wait. We waited a hour and a half to get our food and it tasted great but there was only one waiter and one cook on a Sunday night.
Great crabcake
Amazing food but be prepared for a long wait! My husband had the Butterfish and he still talks about it as if it was the best thing he ever tasted. I have lived in over 14 states in the US and I have lived in Europe so I know good food. We have been here for both dinner and breakfast. Dinner is by far the time to go though breakfast was very good too and the prices not too high.
