I know the person that owns this Club, he has spent a fortune just on the Audio and I have been there numerous times to replace speakers with David Miller from Speakerworks. Awesome Light system as well
The only thing I have to say is I waited 20 minutes in line paid full price for a drink and got a pre mixed lit that I could have spent 20 on the bottle for ... Not happy. If it were on specail and I had paid 3 bucks for it fine but it wasn't. Spending my money else were.
I'm straight and have no fear of queers or lesbians. I like to shoot a game or two of pool upstairs while sipping a drink. Later, it's to the dance floor. Good D.J. straight, gay, bi.. it's all good. Everyone fits in... so I'm not nervous like most places.
Regardless of the other posts, this really is a fun place. On Thursday and Sunday nights, the club is 18+ instead of 21+, which is why the "full of children" argument was there. Any other night, it will be 21+ only will a lighter cover. The drag shows on Sunday nights are HILLARIOUS and the MC is great. Yes, the club is a bit vulgar, but the choice of media that plays on the monitors is most likely assuming that the clubgoers at a gay club are fairly liberal-minded. This really has a good vibe and certainly does not have urine on the floors. Also, most bars start closing at 1:40 because it has to be cleared by 2. Last drinks at 1:30 are a safeguard against drunk driving. (This is a common practice in clubs... it shouldn't be that surprising.)
