Yo man I love the food the community I love it

I have a very high bar for "Mexican" restaurants. Bar cleared, enough said.

Yummy

I agree with John (below), the food is pretty good, but the attitude of the younger staff needs a complete overhaul. Recently, I went there, walked in and asked the young hostess for a booth please. She picked up menus and said "follow me". Then, the phone rang and she made us stand there and wait while she took a complete to-go order. After waiting for a while, I ask if we could please seat ourselves. She barked "Sir! I'm on the phone!". Really? Really? I was there first. I, too, have had the ordeal of placing a to-go order with similar results as John, the person was just rude for no reason. I do not speak Spanish, but I attempted a phone order yet stumbled while attempting to pronounce CHORIZO and TAMPIQUENA; the cashier was VERY rude to me about that. I even spelled the words for him. The cashier said loudly "I can't even understand you" and threw the phone down on the counter. I do not have an enunciation problem. Someone else finally picked up the phone and helped me a little-bit better; but I still got attitude when I picked up the order. Look, I want to get along with everyone, although being belittled is just not necessary and it happens often there. I hope they fix it, because I do like the food. I hope the manager realizes that the first and last experience one has with the restaurant is the hostess and cashier.

Very good....good service....
