pricey, but really good
I have eaten at cookies a few times each time hoping that it would be better. Its horrible. Today we had lunch there and what was supposed to be included with the meal as it stated on the menu sides were included on the price and I was supposed to pick two. Well I did and the dumb waitress ended up charging me extra for the sides. I asked her why it cost so much she then proceeded to tell me she charged me extra for my sides when the meal was supposed to be $8.95 with the sides included in the price. It ended up being $10.51 and that was before taxes......I told her that wasn't right she then turned her back on me and put my money into the register. I told her the food wasnt cooked right she just smiled and walked away. Also what I witnessed when I walked up to pay for my food was disgusting. The waitress who was running the register told me to hold on she had to make coffee. She took the filter dumped it into the trash which wouldnt have been a big deal but she pushed it into the overflowing trash so that it was touching the contents in the trash and then put a new filter in it and started it up. I told my mother to never drink coffee from there and I also said we would not eat there again. POOR SERVICE AND NASTY FOOD. I will not ever eat there again. I gave them chances but if they don't care about their customers then they won't be overcharging me again I won't be going back!
Breakfast is amazing here!!
The people here were very friendly and accommodating. We ate here a few times instead of the hotel. The waitress was very friendly. The kids and I ate one morning and then later I was able to order food to take back to the hubby who was working night shift. They made and extra to go container with plastic ware syrup and butter. The food is very good and filling. I prefer their breakfast over the hotel and any chain breakfast restaurant.
