This place isn't a legitimate Russian restaurant. The owner is American and most of the staff is American. The only Russian person here is the manager, who was purposely hired so people would think this was a Russian restaurant. The food here is terrible and has no taste. In fact, most of the food on the menu isn't even Russian. What is Russian isn't cooked right and tastes terrible. The alcohol here is watered down, the restaurant is crowded, the basement is dark and crowded and the music is extremely loud. I also know a few people who got food poisoning from here. Avoid this place at all costs.
Good service, food ok, fun place to be
Not sure why everyone is hating on this place, it has a nice vibe to it and has a certain Eastern European crowd here. True it can get load at times and they throw parties here, but for Eastern European food its pretty good.
I was ordered borscht it wasn't authentic something between borscht and solanka , for non Russian people it's mean what they had in refrigerator they placed everything !!!! real borscht cook from cabbages and beets , tomatoes ,little bit garlic for taste with sour and sweet taste !!! not from beans , mushroom and etc.... all food were definitely made few days before , not first day fresh ! other dishes were average too , nothing special to come back !
