Buffalo Wings & Rings

Bad experience! Lousy lunch! Poor service! Waitress with an attitude. I didn't track the time of what all took so long, 57 minutes for lunch is ridiculous. They weren't at all busy at 1:05 pm, only three other people in the dinning room and another guy at the bar. Ordered 10 wings (two different flavors, 5 each) fries and water. It cost $15.10, not a very good deal. The wings were not fresh out of the fryer, rather more like they sat in a warmer for an hour or so, like leftovers from lunch hour. they were just warm, somewhat dry and a little tough. I'd say overcooked if it weren't for the fact they weren't that "Hot out of the fryer" temp. When the waitress brought them to me, she stuck her nose in the bowl to smell them, to figure out which ones were which flavor, kind of rude. She had to do this this because they looked as though they had NO sauce at all. "That's how the managers say they should be" is what she exclaimed. she goes on to say "It's a butter sauce...and it soaks in is what the cook says". I took one bite and could not taste any sauce at all, and of course the waitress is gone by now. After having to wait for her return, I ask for sauce for each and then had to wait even longer. When she did finally come back with the two sauces, again she stuck her nose in them to tell which was which. She exclaimed she "couldn't find the cook, he's not back there so I had to get them myself". I thought to myself (so why are you sniffing at my sauce, you dished it out yourself...can't remember which is which from the kitchen to here?) I was told bleu cheese and ranch come with the wings, yet I was charged for the ranch dressing. Their "Famous bleu cheese dressing" is a thick, paste like base substance with cottage cheese like globs in it and the consistency of mashed potatoes, or whipped butter. The fries were good and the water was cold, but nothing to brag about. When I tried to pay the bill, I was told "the computers have been down and needed rebooting", I then see the waitress etching my credit card impression onto a paper form with the side of a pencil. She had to do this a second time, because she messed up the first time. As she carelessly discarded the first in the trash without tearing it up. I asked her to please stop, give me both sets of copies and I'll pay with cash instead. When I told her that's an easy way for anyone to steal my account numbers, she said "oh, it's ok, you can trust us here", in a tone of voice as though I'm calling her a thief. Someone that clueless should not be handling any credit cards whatsoever. She then took offense when I said " No, I don't care for reckless manner in which they're handling my credit card information, I not comfortable with what your doing. It was obvious I being punished with an extraordinary long wait for my change from a $50 dollar bill. I had to go searching for her in the back by the food pick up area. She said she "had to get the money out of the safe". I asked her if this is how everyone that pays cash is treated, she replied sarcastically "Yes, the computers down". (in that "Duh" tone of voice"). It was at this point I decided that I can not in my right mind rewarded poor service, poor food and sarcasm with any amount of a tip. I have never not left a tip before, but she was just a complete jerk about it all. I overheard her tell the other guy at the bar, that on the receipt, "There's a website to go to take a survey and get free wings on your next visit". I found it rather interesting that she failed to mention this to me. Hmmmm? Well guess what...I DID take the survey. Keep your FREE wing, as I will not eat there again. The server's name on the receipt is Sara G., Good luck to you if you have the misfortune of being subjected to "her" idea of customer service!!
The food was very good despite coming out a little cold, but for just opening up 3 weeks ago and serving 10 people, and I will cut them a little slack. The wings were great with sauces comparable to B-dubs. The rings and Coleslaw were very good! Coleslaw was sweet with just a bit of tang. Kids got at of food for 5 bucks: 5 wings, a side and drink. Same price as 5 "adult" wings. One star loss for the price, which is quite high, but on occasion a great place.
No burgers on a Saturday night at 630 pm. During ncaa tournament. Wtf
I waited for several minutes by the "please wait to be seated" sign before deciding to leave and place an order over the phone. When I came back to pick up my order, I waited another 5 minutes until they greeted me. Once they acknowledged me, they were pleasant. The sides were great but the wing were mediocre. I tried the boneless and traditional wings. The dinner baskets were a good deal.
Mediocre food
