3 Point Restaurant

If you are going to this restaurant to celebrate an event (i.e. a birthday) make sure you ask the following: Is it okay to bring a cake and are there any fees that will be assessed doing so? Answer: YES and they are going to charge you $10 to cut your cake regardless if they cut it or if they give you a knife to cut it yourself. Does it matter if I confirm the number of people I am having in my party? Answer: NO because Olympia (mother of one of the owners) is only going to listen to the highest number you say even after lowering your number and then she is going to embarrass you in front of your guests when you don't have your entire party present even when weather is bad outside and the majority of your party is in attendance. Does it matter how many people are present before I can be seated for my event? Answer: YES, you have to make sure half of your party is present before being seated. We had a party of 25 (that was really supposed to be 20) Olympia told us that we couldn't be seated until 15 were present (half of 20 is 10 and half of 25 is 12.5/13)...smh Olympia Fragomeni is very unprofessional and IF I decide to come back to 3 Point I will make sure that it is during the early portion of their hours, I will call ahead to make sure she isn't there and I won't celebrate a memorable event there because she is guaranteed to put a damper on the event with her rudeness and poor customer service. A tip for her would be to attend a conference at Disney so she can increase her ability to provide excellent customer service. ***this is sad because prior to this event I have had great experiences with service food and ambiance***
Not worth the money. DBA and Crave both have better food, service, and ambience by far. If it was ~$50 for two people, I'd rate it higher, but one can easily drop $90 on dinner for two. It's just not that great of an experience to be worth the cost. Plus, they bring out a platter of desserts without asking first. I find this to be very distasteful.
Hands down the best restaurant in Akron. If you have not tried it yet, you must!
Absolutely terrible meal. Ordered smothered chicken, as did my wife, and when it arrived we looked at each other as if to say 'this is it?'. The chicken dish was two tiny chicken breast halves with a melted slice of cheddar on it, a few mushrooms and onion pieces. I could have made a much better presentation from my grill at home. They forgot the applewood smoked bacon that was supposed to be on the chicken. I asked if the chef forgot, bartenders reply was 'probably'. Asparagus was the side and it was completely plain...as in steamed, with nothing on it. That's it. Plain. Absolutely not coming back despite nice atmosphere.
From the moment we walked in the door we felt like guests of honor! Everyone at 3 Point greeted us with a smile that said “we are truly happy you are here.” That was four years ago. Since then, any time we have a sitter, 3 Point is where you are most likely to find my husband and I. Most recently we reserved their back room for our staff Christmas party of about 20 teachers and administrators, and could not have been happier! We had the greatest service I have ever had at any restaurant. Our waiter and waitress were respectful, attentive and organized. They made each guest feel relaxed and completely at home. The atmosphere was elegant and the food was absolutely delicious. And the desserts!!! The desserts are out of this world, especially the peanut butter pie and canoli! Our party was just before our two week Christmas break. Once everyone was back at school, the first thing they talked about was how much fun they had at our Christmas party at 3 Point. We look forward to reserving the back room at 3 Point for many Christmas parties to come!
