Dont bother reading the bad review, since it appears to be written by a kid in high school, not a parent of young kids. Sounds completely bogus to me. I have eaten here twice about two years apart with my family, we all agree it is very good food and great service. There have been people inside and cars in the parking lot both times we went. The pork bbq sandwich is great, and the sweet potato fries are the best I've had.
I am shocked beyond belief. I have brought my kids to the Main street restaurant many many times but that stops today. I have never ever witnessed such unprofessional treatment in my life and I have been a cook for 25 years. The waitress screwed up my daughters order and we had to wait 40 minutes for to be corrected. The waitress said she would ask if you should could give the kids each a free piece of pie for her mistake, We asked if we could get the mixed up meal comped instread instead because the kids didnt want pie. At which time she LIED and said we didn't order it until we were ready to leave to cover her mistake.. I was very clear on what I ordered for the girls. We asked politely to have the one meal comped at which time the waitress got rude with us and called the manager who made a HUGE scene, The manager swore at us in front of two 12 year olds (WHO THEN GOT SCARED AND RAN OUTSIDE TO THE CAR!) and then threatened to call the cops on us before we could even explain what the issue was! NEVER have I experienced such blatant immaturity from a manager or waitress in the food industry. They also over charged our bill and refused to fix it. I would suggest eating somewhere else where the staff is more professional. I am not the only person this has happened to.

Consistently good food every time we go. A great place to eat in Tupper Lake! I recommend the milkshakes and the specials are always really good. They have real high chairs and a kids menu.
My FAVORITE place for breakfast in Tupper. It's always really CLEAN and the food is always done to my specifications..(since I am quite picky!) Their Homefries were wonderful (with a little bit of onion) and their Omelettes and AAAAH-mazing...not to mention their pancakes...WHOA!
