GMO (ie. cheap and full of toxic pesticides) food. Should be organic, especially given their image and location, etc. If they switch, I'll update my review.
The best restaurant in all of Ulster County in my opinion. Delicious food, great wine list, incredibly warm and helpful staff and a nice, laid back atmosphere. Loved it.
Unfortunately the waiters tonight at the Red Onion were terrible. They did not listen to simple requests such as not putting avocado in my sister's salad or refilling my cocktail. They showed very poor etiquette by almost knocking over my sister upon entering the restaurant, reaching over the table, not remembering who ordered which entrees, clearing my mother salad before she was finished. I became obnoxious towards the wait staff purely out of disgust of their manners. I am sure they did not like me either, so the feelings were mutual. I would never go back to this restaurant, even though, the food was good.
OMG, they do a ribeye with a blue-cheese butter sauce that is TO DIE FOR!!! I wish they would put it back on the menu and leave it there!! Great food!! Five stars!
A fairly interesting and varied menu. My randomly chosen wine, Barbara something or other, was excellent. Nice, warm and woody kind of place. Waitress and service was excellent. No complaints other than I could not finish my meal because my stomach was not as ambitious as my eyes. Recommended.
