Flaherty's Three Flags Inn/ Macedon
Reviews
A hidden gem ! Good selection of pub food, beers, and friendly – cozy atmosphere. The Friday Fish Fry is incredible and is one of the best (if not the best) in the Rochester area. Definitely recommend Flaherty’s !
great food
Foods amazing been here a couple of times and I've never been unhappy with the food, same with my family or friends I come with.
Love it here! Great staff
i previously gave this restaurant/pub a good review. i have eaten and drank at the bar numerous times. the bar food is good, as is the beer selection. however, saturday i ate there with my wife and two children. it was AWEFUL!!! the staff was seemed indifferent about our presence and we did not feel welcomed. our waitress was charmless and cold, and her voice was condescending. i ordered kids meals and chicken wings as an appetizer for my wife and i. i asked for extra crispy wings, but they were anything but. she did, however, attempt to convince me they were: "here are your EXTRA CRISPY wings!" when she came around again, i asked if she could bring out my kids meals as soon as possible. she then began to explain that next time, if i wanted the kids meal to come out first, i would have to say something. really!? how about just be a nice waitress and say, "sure!" do i need a lesson in how to order my food and make obviously special requests? i've NEVER been to a restaurant where i have had to make that SPECIAL request. wouldnt it be a waiter/waitress' first question, "do you want the kids meals to come out first?" maybe that is too much to ask, but again, how about just saying, "sure, i'll tell the kitchen to put them on the grill now." although i was offered soda refills frequent enough, there was little other attention to our table. i ordered the penne chicken and sausage alla vodka. it was not that good. the pasta was a little mushy (i much prefer al dente) and the sauce was bland. my wifes nachos were good. my oldest child's hamburger was well liked and my youngest's hotdog barely touched the grill. we had to leave suddenly and i asked for "to-go" containers. the bus-girl brought them to me and walked away. i had no room on the table to transfer the food. no one came to take the empty plates as i put the food in the containers, which would have been VERY helpful. i was looked at by my waitress a few times as i was doing this and she never offered to help. she then brought the check abruptly and walked away. not even sure if she muttered thank you as she ran off. i wanted to complain to the manager, but she looked liked she didnt want to talk to customers she didnt know. i wasnt given a nice "thanks for coming" or anything. i think i'll stick to the bar side and the bar food.
