No. 10 Tavern
Reviews
I've been here twice, once for a couple of beers and again for dinner. The bartender was wonderful--so knowledgable, friendly and professional without being cold. I was there alone and he (I think his name was Matt) was very accommodating. My dinner at 10 was decent but I'd hoped it would be better. There menu looked incredible and I was hungry. The service was good, the lighting was a little bright for me in the dining room, but I like the dark. I had whatever the crawfish sausage dish was and my husband had the shrimp po boy. The sausage didn't have much crawfish flavor and the filling was mainly rice. The browning on the sausage was really great, as were the onions. It was served with mashed potatoes so the dish came off as very starchy to me, with all that rice. I love the concept and hope this review might encourage the kitchen to re-work this dish with more seafood, less rice or omit the rice altogether. My husband's po boy was tasty but not particularly special. I will be back in the future to try some other dishes but I hope that it is just that they are a newer restaurant and are working out the kinks. I also admit that I have pretty high standards and am often disappointed, haha. Overall a nice new addition.
Great food and wonderful service! Definitely a good choice!
