Sake-Tumi

Super rude waitress, long wait time. They could barely accommodate a large group. When I asked if she could split the check or use more than one card to pay, she said (very rudely) that nobody ever does that and she'd never heard of that being done. Poor girl must have never stepped outside Binghamton before. The food was okay, nothing special. I would stay away.
The only thing this place has going for itself is the delicious fusion sushi rolls. If there were another place around that had the types of rolls this place does, I'd go there though -- because sake-tumi's service is horrible. Seriously. Every time I've ever been there, I spend hours there (not by choice). The bulk of the time wasted is just waiting to have my order be taken after being seated, and then waiting for them to give me my bill. Calling in for take out? Give them 15 minutes longer than they said. Don't show up on time, and definitely don't show up early. It won't be ready.
Food was good but way overpriced. The service was EXTREMELY slowwww. I went during the wintertime and their heat was down and we were all freezing in the basement area. Overall I wouldn't really recommend this restaurant to anyone.
Good food, and great service, only complaint is the wait it takes to recieve the food. Have been numerous times on $1 sushi night, and with the extended wait I can't really complain since it is $1. Recently I went for lunch, myself & boyfriend were the only ones in the restaurant. Ordered 2 rolls and it took 45 minutes to come out. Had to eat quickly since it was during the work week. Think they would be much more marketable for the business lunch crowd if they would get the food out at a more reasonable rate.
SLOOOOOOOOW service. Staff wears too much perfume. I love the sushi, but avoid going there because it just plain takes too long to have a work lunch. Oddly, they never seem to have more than 2 tables filled and it is still glacial service. Boo.
