It is a newly renovated bar with an iinviting atmosphere. My family and I always visit Nips to have a great time listening to bands play and enjoy the food there. Yes the wings are great and so is the pizza and the weekly specials. There is always something going on there at night to liven up your spirits!
Most of the time you can skip the college crowds here. They have good wings and relatively cheep drinks. Wing nights, karaoke, and horse shoes usually draw the biggest crowds. The bartenders are nice (at least when they're not crazy busy) and it usually doesn't take them long to get to know you.
In response to the other review stating that Nip's will serve minors, I've never seen this. As far as I know the bar tenders will card anyone that comes in with whom they are not familiar.
