PEOPLE LISTEN UP! This place is one place that you can certainly guarantee bad service and bad food! We live in the neighborhood and used to frequent this place at least once a week. We have not been for almost a year, until New Years Eve… We were coaxed into going there with 3 other couples, I had reservations at Beaujolais Bistro but we decided to be with our good friends instead. Let me start by saying we had to beg for drinks, beg for bread, beg for more drinks, beg for water. We asked the lights be turned down a smudge because it was SO bright. There were candle holders on the tables, but no candles! So we asked for that. We received our soup, it was cold and barely a 1/4 cup of soup per bowl. Sent it back. Asked for more bread, they were out but it was baking in the oven.. Meals came out after two hours and they were cold. The filets, literally were sliced about a 1/8 inch thick into two tiny medallions served with a "crab cake". Let me tell you, I am from Maryland where we eat crabs. There was no crab in those crab cakes. We sat with dirty empty plates forever.. It was a disaster! The owner absent, as usual, the manager absent, new hire servers, first or second night and pretty sure the chef was drunk. BAD, BAD BAD! Save your money and gas and do NOT eat at this dump!

very poor service - poured two glasses of wine when bottle was ordered - one waitress waiting time was 15 minutes for appetizer - one person at the bar waiting for take out - asked for bread and 10 minutes into my meal she came back with TOAST - no apology - didn't ask if we wanted desert - charge $18 for a chicken breast and a lot of pasta - had to ask then wait for cards to play machines - then asked to fill out info we already did a year ago and we have never gotten any e-mails or comps - had to go into resturant and ask for a drink while playing machines - very poor really we won't be back - the Peppermill knows how to treat locals and provides first rate food and service at a reasonable price - good thing the owner is rich but this place will milk him dry for at least one kid's college fund. - I see the upstairs is open for weddings that must be a real cluster
