We visited La Casita because of the good reviews on Google and were surprised when we saw it. It is pretty shabby looking, however, it is clean and pleasant inside. It is a family owned business and the folks are VERY friendly and hospitable. The food was terrific. They are in the planning stages of remodeling the place and fixing up the outside. I would recommend it to anyone.

There's not many choices in this town, so we were happy to find that the food is much better than the appearance would suggest. They have a good chile rellano and burrito. It's a little pricey for a full dinner, but they have an a la carte menu that will allow for smaller appetites and lower check amount.

Live music, and great food. The guac was the best I had ever tasted.

On my way down to Burning Man I spotted this unobtrusive little restaurant in the rundown town of Lovelock. What a surprise. Outstanding service, the best Chiles Rellenos I've ever had. They even gave me a free ice cream taco for my birthday. I made it a point to visit them again on the way back north. Not quite as good food that time but I was a bit queasy from the festival's excesses. Highly recommended.

from Colorado, stopped on our way home from Reno. Amazing breakfast, Verde and ranchero sauces. Loved the place and great service
