My family wanted to stop for lunch somewhere before we began a hike. We stopped by Tunnel Creek Cafe and were very impressed. There was good food, nice interior design, and very friendly workers. We were a big group with 8 people and the cashier didn't get irritated while taking our order. She even said we could get our order started while we were still deciding. I recommend this place to anyone looking for a simple and quaint cafe.
I'm not sure if it's the city but this breakfast/lunch cafe opens at 8:30 on the weekends and for all the activities around here you would want to get started before 9AM. Music was great, limited menu, but food was good. only seats around 10 groups max.
