Their food and customer service was excellent, despite the expected language barrier. The restaurant and bar were clean; although the menus weren't wiped down. They have large portions. I had the Chicken Lo Mien and it will feed me again tomorrow for lunch. The Kids boxes have a salad, vegetables and rice included. My husband had a California roll, a sesame eel and egg rolls. We were pleasantly surprised and it was worth the $50 (with tip and a few drinks from the bar). If we come through Elko again, we will definitely stop there!
Map Quest says they are closed on Sunday, but they are open. Read the other reviews and they were favorable so we gave it a go. If you are looking for good sushi while traveling through Elko give them a try. Food was good and service was good as well. Lunch ended up being $52 for our family of four, but we felt it was worth it. If our travels bring us through Elko in the future we would eat at Blue Moon again.
Some of the best customer service in Elko! Absolutely LOVE that they have a variety of Asian Cuisine (including Thai!) Their Curry is to die for! I have been to Blue Moon probably about 20 times since they opened here in Elko and my family and I have had: Regular Rolls, Hand Rolls, Specialty Rolls, Lunch Specials, Chicken Curry, Vegetable Curry, Love Boat, and each of their soups. We have been seated at tables, at the counter, and ordered to go. Never once a bad experience. Prices are very reasonable. I recommend Blue Moon Asian Cuisine to my friends, family and co-workers.
The service was fantastic!! Food was excellent, very unique, and fish was so fresh! I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who likes sushi as well as anyone who likes teriyaki bowls with perfectly cooked chicken :-) such a good dinner !
