Took a couple of friends for their birthdays. Two of us had the prime rib, one the wild caught salmon and the other the NY strip steak. All meats were cooked as ordered and the same for the salmon. The flash fried oysters as an appetizer were delicious!! Service was very attentive as they used a team approach; we lacked for nothing. In addition, the pacing of the meal was Excellent; we never waited for the next service nor was it rushed; just perfect! Bread pudding, blueberry pie and pinon ice cream were all well prepared, flavorful and satisfying. I highly recommend it
I have dined at Steaksmith more times that I can count. To this day I have never had a bad Steak or experience at this restaurant. From the food to the service to the price to the ambiance, it has all been excellent. I highly recommend the Steaksmith. Best Steak in town, hands down!!!
Ate in the lounge where the menu is surprisingly extensive however lacking in Mexican food. Grilled shrimp and drawn butter was very good with side of excellent "Indonesian" rice made crunchy with toasted almond slivers. Chipotle mashed potatoes were an interesting twist. Blueberry pie not bad but needed a top crust. The raspberry pie was even better. Great attentive service in a busy lounge. Strong margaritas. Prices pretty good for Santa Fe area.
Green chili Soup is the worst soupI ever received. My guest spinch salad was good.Steak and Shrimp and Steak and scallops were aweful. Steak was sold as prime but it had no flavor. Shrimp and Scallopes were over cooked.the scallop was one large scallope cut in to four pieces. Really is that a serving? For the cost of this meal I should be leaving 5 stars.Next time I am in Sanata Fe I WON'T be dinning here.
