We sat at the bar, and the bartender was obviously overwhelmed. She was busy doing 300 things at one time, so we got poor service. She seemed aggravated which stressed me out and made it so I couldn't enjoy my food. For some reason the manager kept going into the bar, I think to 'help' but instead she'd just talk to guys and leave her bartender in the weeds. A server came up to her and complained that another server was taking all of the seats. The bartender told her to just go and sit herself. I watched,considering that I used to be a server before I moved here, and it was true. One girl had literally like 20 tables and the other only had one. A male manager and the female manager saw this, but did nothing. Back to my husband an my service. The food took a long time to come out, so did the drinks (even though we were at the bar). The bartender was snappy. I finished my frozen drink before anything came out and was never offered a refill, even through my meal. The food was delicious though. The bartender took forever giving us the check, and picking up the check, although she was literally in arms reach from us. She forgot my husband's military discount, and since the service was so awful, I made sure to ask for it again,and she gave it to us, but first she had to find a manager to get a key, so that she could do it. Maybe if I'm out to waste my time, and drink a few alch. drinks, I'll be back.
Very disappointing. The only reason I went to Applebee's I was given a gift card. The food was okay not good but no where near the $60.00 we were charged. The service WAS SO TERRIBLE. Not going to go back..........
The service was awful from the time I walked in to the time I walked out. By far the worst Applebee's I have ever been to. I had to wait like 10 minutes just to be seated. They got my order wrong and I found a hair in my food! They also put ice in my chocolate milk. Who does that!
Poor service, slow and forgetful. Pricey food. Beer and drinks not fresh.
Have been today even with the low zagat rating. What a fresh, tasty and great meal I had there. Even the server did a very good job. Will definitely return
