Very overpriced! Tasty food, however. Had the Caldo de Pollo (I think that's what it was called). Very good, but $11 for a bowl of chicken tortilla soup with cornbread in it is a little way too much.

This was my first time at a Flying Star Cafe (the Paseo location) and I was overwhelmed by the variety of the menu (and distracted by the amazing desserts and pastries in the bakery case!). The server was really helpful and recommended the Blues Burrger (which was delicious) and I bought their last two chocolate beignets (they have a 'beignet of the day'! how wonderful!) before leaving the place. The interior is well-lit by natural light and there are outlets along banquette seating, which encourages people to use it as a "workplace away from work". Our food came quickly, which was a welcome surprise for 5:30pm on a Friday. I wish I lived closer; I would've liked to try other menu options! It seems a little pricey, but for the quality of food, it was worth it!

Overall, a good experience with a trendy chic environment. The food was above average but not incredible. The soups were a bit too runny without enough solids in them. The burgers were a bit too much bun and not enough insides. But they were still tasty.

This is the second time that I have been at flying star and was very disappointed! The food was way over priced. I spent $24 on a chicken pot pie, a piece of cake and a soda. At any other place that would be two meals. The cake was dry and for $8 it wasn't worth it! Probably won't ever go eat here again!

Thanks for the delicious fruit tart dessert that our office staff enjoyed recently! It was gone in a hurry!
