Mediterranean Bistro

The only drawback was service that still needs to work out the kinks, but the place was only a few weeks old when we went and the owner/manager on site bent over backwards to make things right. We will absolutely be back and recommend to friends. The food is really well done come prepared to share small plates so it is especially good for groups where you can sample more options.
I had the duck Sharma. Delicious and very filling. It came with fries and tabbouleh. The tabbouleh had a Spanish vibe and very good.
Had an excellent "spicy pineapple" martini to start, kebabs for dinner, which were very good, but then service slowed down and we opted out of dessert. If they tighten up the service, the place would be much better. It has a lot of potential.
Went to dinner last night for my girlfriend's birthday, and it was one of the best dining experiences I've had in a long time. We were seated at a table right next to the fireplace (gas powered, so it was not uncomfortably warm) so there was immediately a pleasant and romantic ambiance. Our server, Sandy, was attentive, pleasant, and sociable throughout, but not dramatically so (i.e. she didn't come across as fake). We started with the Crispy Phyllo Cigar Rolls which are Spinach & Feta Cheese Stuffed Phyllo Rolls. These far exceeded our expectations. Put simply, they were incredibly delicious and fresh. For our entrees we both had kabobs. You get to pick 3 kinds of kabobs. We both had the Honey Mustard Salmon and Marinated Lamb, while she had Teriyaki Pork and I chose Spicy Beef. All were tender and delicious, and we both agreed that the lamb was the best of the lot. Even the bed of rice they sat on was exceptional. In fact, even the simple side of greens, tomato, and red onion was fresher and tastier than most salads I've gotten at restaurants. Seeing as how it was a nice occasion, we decided to get dessert as well as try one of their special coffees. We both had the Vanilla Crème Brûlée which is described as Rich Chilled Custard with Tahitian Vanilla Bean & a Caramelized Sugar Crust with Fresh Berries. Visually it looked like it was right out of a food magazine, and it tasted like it was made and prepared fresh just before serving. Despite how rich and heavy it looked, it was actually very light. Even the berries were fresh and ripe. As for the coffee, she had the Jamaican and I had the Mexican. They were both very similar with the exception of the sprinkled nutmeg on the Mexican. A pleasant ending to a fantastic meal. I am sure we will return to the Mediterranean Bistro.
Nice place. Attentive wait staff.
