Seven Star Diner
Reviews
My wife and I discovered this great happy hour location. But we only go when their star bartender, Jena, is at the bar. She has a following that is always there on Friday evening with live music. The happy hour appetizer are a hit.
Always get a good meal here. I do believe, when they close each night, they should give the booths and surround walls a good cleaning. Each booth also has a small advertising TV screen and they are covered with food specks and finger prints I believe are from children that might be playing with the screen. Other that that, its a good diner!
The decor is beautiful since the renovations. But their is a horrible sewage smell throughout the restaurant! The menu is way to big, 10 pages! The other 3 people in my party enjoyed their meal and our server was very nice. But my BBQ chicken sandwich was disgusting! Way over-cooked, the supposed applewood bacon was far from it! And the BBQ sauce is red and taste like straight up ketchup. I won't be going back.
Don't ever eat here. I gave this diner three attempts. The first time my pancakes were flabby and just not good. The second time my diner partner got a ham steak, it was raw and not edible. The third time was the final straw! My food was disgusting. The walnuts on my salad were so stale they were soft and they had mold and spider webs on them. I wanted to shove my finger in the back of my throat. On top of that! The chicken was under cooked and expired, even under the dressing I could taste the raw chicken. My daughter got a cheeseburger well done and it was disgusting as well. It was burnt on the outside and raw on the inside. The burger was falling apart because it wasn't cooked at all. This place is really bad, I don't know how anyone could eat here!
The staff is less than adequate. Shame I use to like the diner but to many problems there with staff to enjoy the meal there. They grew too big and have not ironed out all the kinks.
