I think the decor is great for the setting! Kudos to who ever picked it out! The upholstered chairs inside are comfy. The first time we went it was *awesome* the other two times we've gone have not been so great. We prob won't go back.
DO NOT EAT HERE!!! We went out last Sat. night. Our food was late by over an hour, the steak was not cooked right and the vegetables were still half frozen. We complained and were told they were "Swamped" by the waitress, the manager and the Cook! Like that makes ANY difference, you are a restuarant, you need to provide service. WE WILL NOT EVER EAT HERE AGAIN...if you like biker trash, head on out toe Heron Bay. If you like everyone to be smoking on the patio while you're trying to enjoy the weather, head on out to this place. If you like a band -"Screez" that sounds like they should be named "Screech" head on out. Otherwise, stay home and cook yourself.
The food has always exceeded our expectations. It may not always get to your table fast, but it's always been worth the wait and price. Drink service is always prompt and friendly. It's basically old cabin so not a fancy place by any means, but very comfortable in the most casual way. There are plenty of tables outside on the patio which is right on the Platte river and several tables inside as well. This is a popular stop for bikers and air-boaters so they're typically busy on nice days.
One of my all time favorite places to be when the weather is nice. :)
was charged for more drinks than I ordered and owners didn't take care of it so I will never go back again and wouldn't recommend it to anybody else ever again.
