CAFE FROM HELL!! TOTAL SNOBS & JUNK FOOD. BOYCOTT NEEDED They've bumped my order behind 10 other people before. they say it will be done in fifteen and make you wait an hour for one order! NO APOLOGY! They treat you like trash over the phone. "IT?...IS THAT ITT!!**?! These people have zero class, they have absolutely no place in a service business. If they screw up your order and make you wait an hour you'd have to pull out ALL of their teeth to get HALF AN APOLOGY. SERIOUSLY folks! They pull some kinda crap every time I've been stupid enough to give them my business. Give these people the cold shoulder like they do their customers. serves em' right WHAT IS WRONG WITH LOUISVILLE?
Generous servings, but the food is nothing to write home about. It's not bad, it's just bland. They also tend to be very stingy with condiments; most of the time the food comes with absolutely nothing and you have to ask for mayo/mustard/tartar sauce/etc. They have terrible iced tea, it tasted like it had been sitting around for a long time or their equipment hadn't been cleaned in a while. The worst part about this place is the service, which is nearly non-existent. It takes forever after you order before you meal comes, and it takes a long time to get your check at the end of the meal. They have great desserts, however.
Awesome pork tenderloin sandwich! We'll be back for more.
Great Prices for large servings. Not very vegan-friendly though, and the servers were pretty clueless as to what they actually offered from their menu... i asked if they had oatmeal... "I don't know". when their menu said "assorted dry cereals" I asked what kind they had and again..."I don't know..."
We stopped in for lunch and were happy we did. Great atmosphere - kind of a cross between a cafe and diner, with a great small-town feel. My meal was good for what it was - chicken fingers and fries - and my husband really enjoyed his hot dog with all kinds of toppings and homemade onion rings. The service was excellent, even though there appeared to be only two people working and nearly every table filled up while we were there. It seemed like an unanticipated rush, full of us out-of-towners, but no one missed a beat or seemed overwhelmed. I was impressed! And as the mother of a toddler who touches everything, I was super-impressed by the beautiful and very clean restroom.
