The food was good. I ordered the ribs and was disappointed with the serving size. It was 5 baby backs, but listed as Kansas City style. I had expected a larger portion of pork ribs, not a smaller portion of baby backs. One of the servers was wearing a sports team shirt during a game. She was very thin skinned and was offended that anybody would say negative things about the 49ers. I expect to be reminded of my favorite team's performances when I wear clothing with the team's branding on it.
I tried out Players while in town on business. An impressive venue not only for Dickinson, but for anywhere. Lots of selection on the menu, but I had a burger which was excellent. A friend had their Wood-Fired Pizza and that was tasty as well. Service was good and prices were fair. I would recommend this spot to anyone as a good restaurant, and a great place to watch Sports in the bar area-nice atmosphere!
While I've had a couple of decent experiences here, my recent visit will be my last. All four meals at our table were either not cooked properly or just plain disgusting. It was definitely not worth the hour + wait. To top it off, the service was terrible. We're usually not ones to complain about a meal, but everything was so bad my father was compelled to say something. This prompted a manager to come over, and you could tell she simply didn't care. When you charge as much as they do for food, you better damn well care. No matter, we won't be coming back here again. Maybe Fisher Industries should stick to dirt.
service is super slow so prepare for a wait when you visit. I also purposely order the elk burger since the beef patties don't seem to be so great on the burgers here. It's good food, but after having to wait 10 minutes 3 times in a row for just getting our drink order I'm more compelled to go to buffalo wild wings down the road.
Nice place. Good food. Big, and more TV's than you'll ever need lol.
