First I'm going to break down the review below me. Don't know what you ordered, but if it was an item they served on the buffet, expect it to come from the buffet. That's standard practice in the American-Chinese takeout industry. Secondly, their buffet was $8 in 2010-2011 when you ordered there, not $5. Getting the order wrong, that's common in fast food and I advise everyone to always check their orders. If everyone did this at the counter/drive-through and wasted the restaurants time that they could be serving other customers with, they'd become more vigilant about making sure the order was right. As for a review, this restaurant is primarily a chinese buffet. It's a good one at that, not my favorite, but a solid restaurant with a good selection. The best American-Chinese buffet in Roanoke Rapids for variety, for taste that honor goes to the Hong Kong House. Decent price for a decent buffet. I don't really recommend the take out, but if you are going to buy it, at least use your knowledge of it being a buffet restaurant to have realistic expectations.
food was o.k. but when I call in a pick up order I dont exspect to get my order from the buffet. I paid $20.00 And the to go food I got was room temp. and from the buffet that only cost $5-6.00. NOT HAPPY. On top of that I got to the hotel and found my order was wrong. If you pay full price for orders dont serve customers from buffet bar. If you're starved it might be good, But I will not return. Don Reeves
