Terrible. We only had two people and we stood up front to be sat for 5 mins while servers walked by us. With about 6 tables in the whole restaurant. Then when we were sat the host said we would be taken care of by a girl named Candice. Sat there for about 10 mins with no drinks and not being greeted. When we were finally greeted it was from the bartender named Jennifer. Took our drink order brought us the drinks. Then went behind the bar to tend to the guest there. So we waited, waited and waited for her to take our entree order. Finally she came a took it. Then, we continued to wait and wait. For about 25 mins on a med-rare steak and a appetizer sampler. The food was sub-par. The steak was over cooked and the apps had been sitting for awhile. Finished our food and were ready to pack up and order our dessert. But, we waited while our server sat at a table across the room and chatted. When she did finally come back I asked for my box she brought it to me and then placed my dessert order of a Blondie brownie. As I packed my leftovers up she then brought us the check without bringing our dessert out first even though it was on the bill. SO AGAIN we waited. The restaurant still not busy. When the dessert came out it as missing the sauce that goes on top. So while we waited for the sauce the ice cream began to melt all over the brownie making it soggy. I will not go back to this Applebee's until they raise their serving standards and figure out how to treat their guest correctly. Pathetic, we spent a hour and 20mins here 75% of the time we were just sitting and waiting.
Worse service I've had in a very long time. the older lady acted like she ran the place, but had little clue. Just watching her work the tables showed she was very frazzled. She didn't know the difference between a pineapple burger and a bacon burger. Somehow, she mixed up out ticket with the table behind us and they ended up losing the money for 5 of us, AND the other table that got up and walked out. We got a free meal, but it's not worth going back.
They have no gluten free meals here, even though they say they do. I was very displeased with the lack of choices.
If you got two they will serve you two for two on the real.
It's a franchise but I have never had a bad meal there.
