Excellent food. Service and music experience was delightful. Atmosphere was extremely inviting and once seated felt right at home. Definitely worth a visit!
I was sad to see the Fireside go but Ruka's adds one more great place to HNC. The portions are small, the bill is kinda high but the food is an 8/10 and the atmosphere is very nice. by Michael Hosto
Great food and service.
I was visiting this past weekend from Los Angeles and the food and staff were absolutely amazing. I had breakfast, lunch and dinner here and each visit was mighty tasty. For breakfast I had home potatoes with sausage gravy and biscuits...drool. For lunch I had the BL twist with in house potato chips...yummy. Dinner was the first meal on the first night I was there and it was tapas, liquor and 2 wine bottles. Is this what heaven is like?? Crab cakes, kobe beef burger, scallops, goat cheese with fresh diced melon...drool. If you are any where near Ruka's you HAVE to stop on by or else you would be doing yourself and your taste buds a BIG disservice!!
Nice atmosphere, recent remodel very nice. Very slim menu choices and very high prices. $16 for a Kobe Beef burger w/fries. $24 for 1 crab cake which was plopped on a large serving plate/bowl in some sauce. Although the crab cake was good, it came with no salad or sides, just the crab cake. They will need to do better if they want repeat customers.
