The coffee is great, only thing stopping it from getting 5 stars is that the staff are not friendly. It's basically the same two people and I go almost every day. Breakfast sandwiches are good but the lunch is not and very over priced. It's basically two slices of meet on regular sandwich bread.
I really wish I could give Jamaica Jo's 5 stars, but there's no way I can after the rude service and rip offs. I go at least 3 times a week before work/school and they usually know my order before I even tell them. On a few occasions, I paid for 2 shots of expresso in my drink and they failed to include them, they are always rude and unpleasant (expect maybe 1 or 2 baristas), and sometimes my order totals vary when I get the exact same drink every time. What really pushed me over the edge, was I finally incurred a free medium drink (after buying 10 drinks), and they made me pay for the extra shots of expresso. I spent at least $60, if not more, to earn a "free" drink, and they couldn't even give me 2 shots of expresso. To be such a loyal and frequent customer, they are so rude and inconsiderate. They jack up their prices anyway, and they run a horrible business. Maybe if they'd actually put some smiles on their faces and at least ask how my day is I wouldn't be so heated about the "free" drink. I will be telling everyone that Jamaica Jo's is a poor coffee shop and to go elsewhere.
Good coffee and laid back atmosphere. Staff are very friendly and much more pleasant than at some of the other coffee shops in the area. Highly recommended.
Just visiting the area from Morrisville, good coffee and nice place
They make the best espresso. About half the price of the big chain shops. Its the only place I think of when I want a espresso.
