I shop at all three Lowe's in Fayetteville with the same great customer service every time. Even when I haggle on the price I am treated great. The paint department always is smiling, the flooring department is always available with good ideas for my projects. I will always shop with Lowe's and no place else when it comes to my home project needs. Don't forget to look for the mark down items and ask if it is the best price they can offer, if it is more than 50% off the reg. price they normally will deal with you.
We have been waiting for three and a half months to get a working refrigerator from these guys. Our initial purchase was delivered a month and a half late and broken. The replacement was also broken. Now we have the THIRD fridge and are waiting to see if it works. In the store we have encountered not just poor service but rudeness. Today our delivery finally came (3 months after it was supposed to be here) and was neither the LG we ordered or the Whirlpool they offered us (to get it here quicker) but is a Maytag. The delivery people made me (a disabled Vet) turn off the water and they acted like they were not going to bring it in. Oh and the kicker...they had to go back to the store to get a socket...two hours to get the new fridge in. I wonder how much food is spoiled. If I could give them 0 stars I would. And an update...no our 3rd fridge does not work and LOWEs is now reneging on what they said they would do to end our ordeal.
ordered large amount of plywood to be picked up by contractors.ordered it on a Wednesday to be picked up on that Friday. had to wait 45 minutes, never pulled plywood my contractors went and pulled it off the shelves themselves. customer service did nothing to rectify the problem.
we ordered a painted patio door and 4 weeks later lowe's delivered one in the wrong size. They ordered another one, again the wrong kind, the door opened the wrong way and it was not painted. I called the door department and found out that the manager had ordered the wrong door TWICE and didn't even say he was sorry. We had to go to the store again bc. now all of a sudden they were not able to order the correct patio door for us and we had to pay almost $200 more than for the first order. 4 weeks later they delivered the correct sized door but it was not painted. Another 4 weeks later they finally delivered the correct door. We called customer service several times, they promised us that our lowes store would call us back. I had to call in almost daily to find out that the store manager was in a meeting. When I finally was able to talk to her she offered the $200 credit and that was it. Now, 6 months into this ordeal there was a "I am sorry" and that was it. I almost started to scream into the phone and asked if this is all they would do for us after we had spent thousands of dollars for flooring and doors in this lowes store. I think I will go to Home depot from now on.
