First, get the name right, Google! For Pete's sake! It's the Nothin' Fancy Cafe, and while that is true, it is arguably the best place to eat in town. You have ladies cooking up some great food in the back and every day you can count on something good being on that menu. Gail, the owner, is ususally there during the day and you won't find a friendlier, more accommodating person in town. Prices are reasonable, the food very good, the service consistently friendly. I'm rating it a 4, only because as the name says, there isn't anything fancy about it, but you aren't likely to have a better meal in town.
Great meatloaf sandwich, Brunswick stew & choc chip pie. Great service and some shopping to burn the calories. RVers - there is room to park!
They weren't kidding. Its nothing fancy. But you have to try their carrot cake! Fantastic.

Stopped in for lunch on our way home from the obx after reading the reviews were not disappointed! The staff were so friendly and attentive and the food was out of this world! Without a doubt the best Brunswick stew we have ever eaten! Great prices and wonderful for our kids. They will do a kids portion of anything on the menu and charge a reduced rate based on their age. I would drive out of my way to eat here again!
