Don't go to Keaton's if you're the foodie snob looking for the shiny floor, checkered table cloth, right-off-the-highway experience. No, you go to Keaton's because you want to drive deep into the booger woods to eat the by god best chicken you ever ate. Your napkin comes off a roll of paper towels and the parking is gravel but you will sure enough love this place....if you're not that snarky foodie snob. Hands down, my favorite NC BBQ joint.

I love Keaton's I used to work there many yr's. Would love to go back soon just moved away. Kathleen is the best boss I had. I miss that place.

The food is awesome. The building, not so much. The service, even less. It's run by ppl who are stuck in their ways of doing things the old way, and yes, they can be rude and aggressive. It's always best to call ahead to order to go.
