This place was so so good! My husband and I randomly tried this place and LOVED it. I ordered the steak Chimichanga and Sopes and they were both delicious, but the Chimichanga was outstanding. The steak was seasoned perfectly and was so tender. The rice was also fantastic and flavorful. We also ordered a churro for dessert with a caramel sauce that was amazing. The owner was also so great and would come out to your table to make sure you were enjoying your meal and you could tell he really took pride in his food. They make everything from scratch and you really can tell b/c everything is so fresh tasting. Please do yourself a favor and try this restaurant!!!!!
Lived in Mexico City for awhile, this is as close as I've come to a real taqueria. No frills just tacos, really good tacos and lots of different kids; I'll be back soon and often
Being from San Diego I am always on the lookout for good Mexican food. this place has good food. service and atmosphere is disappointing but still worth return visits
Just happened upon this place. Wow! Really good. About as authentic as it gets. They've got menudo, pozole, tortas, all kinds of tacos, horchata - even tejuinos. I only tried the torta ahogada - which was wonderful - and can't wait to get back and try some more dishes. Really nice service too. Atmosphere is pretty much nonexistent, but I find that's often the case with places like this. In fact, I found there's an inverse relationship between atmosphere and tastiness of food.
The food was amazing, they got us the food from order to table in less than 10 minutes. This place is a definite and VERY reasonably priced.
