I have eaten in many Thai restaurants in the VA, MD, DC area and this quaint little place will hands down beat any of them. I had the Tom Kha Gai soup. It had freshly grown lemon grass and kaffir lime leaf. The flavor was a perfect balance between citrus, cilantro and rich creamy coconut milk. I love to cook curry myself and had a very difficult time deciding which one to order especially after the waitress said that they make all their curry pastes from scratch with freshly grown ingredients. I decided to go with the chicken red curry. The curry was the perfect consistency (creamy, not watery like some). It was obvious that the paste was made from scratch and didn’t come from a can. The flavors of each ingredient burst with every bite. I was also able to taste the Pad Thai Shrimp, again, top notch with huge shrimp cooked perfectly. Make a point to stop here if you are at all a Thai food lover!
This restaurant is a small establishment in a small town, but the food and service here will challenge any Thai restaurant in any big city. The food is just amazing and the price is very reasonable. We eat here a lot and have tried much of the items on the menu and have NEVER had a bad experience or bad meal. The people here are very friendly and really go out of their way to provide a personal touch to your visit. I would highly recommend that if you're passing through Beulaville, or live in the area and have never given this place a try, pass up the fast food and pizza and eat here instead!
