Winston and the entire staff at the Bayou are really just wonderful. The food is great, and the bartenders/servers are super nice. Their catering is also the best - they are my first call when clients need an event catered. Thanks Bayou! Y'all are great!
Highly Recommend...One of the better places in Banner Elk...Great Food and sports bar atmosphere...Lots of drink selections...Cajun spices are spot on
Highly recommended. Just had a cup of gumbo and crawfish etouffee which were amazing (great smokey roux) with sides of fried okra and collards. Everything was freshly prepared including the fried okra (made in house not frozen). Best cajin this side of New Orleans
Be advised...the menu will appear to be very appetizing. But do not be fooled. The food is terrible! I read the reviews here assuming 3 1/2 stars cant be too bad...but it is very bad. Bayou Smokehouse obviously serves below mediocre food to tourist because they know no one will expect to return to their restaurant. Not to mention the servers aren't exactly the most friendliest you ever met. Please take heed to this review. DO NOT EAT AT BAYOU SMOKEHOUSE & GRILL!!!!!
