The food here is awesome!!! My mom grew up in the deep south and the food here tastes just like it came out of her kitchen. Doesn't matter if it's the Reb Beans & Rice, Jambalaya or one of the Sandwiches the food has excellent flavor and will fill you up. Some of the best food in Helena.
Let the good times roll!! What a great li'l joint! I lived in the Deep South for quite a few years and this little cafe is a home away from home!! I ate my weight, an I ain't no li'l boy, in cajun food in the Big Easy and this is just so dang close to the joints in Louisiana that it's now my favortive joint in Helena. If you want BIG BOLD flavor in your diet...this is it. You'd be a dang fool if you didn't at least try it...aaiieeaaaww!!!

I'll be honest - I haven't gotten a lot further than the cheesesteak Po' Boy. It's that good. I have tried other dishes and they were all tasty as well, but you simply cannot beat the cheeseteak... best in Helena. Catfish Po' Boy is excellent as well - the aioli sauce is to die for. Unless you want to have enough for lunch the next day, get the small versions of the dishes.
