coffee way overpriced for the poor quality. i find starbucks superior quality and much more reasonably priced.
Great coffee house with an excellent atmosphere that can shame Starbucks. The food was "off da chain"
Good food, good beer. Interesting menu featuring crepes and burgers. The brew master at the front brewing company (with which faster basset shares a building) is coming up with some great recipes for their limited batch micro brews. And he's a friendly guy on top of it. Definitely worth stopping in.
I am visiting from Texas & staying with family in town. Met some cousins there and we had a nice time. Sandwich was delicious and brought home leftovers. Today, I was finishing my half sandwich (chicken with ham mixture) and found someone's fingernail that was torn off and in my sandwich. Kind of horrified! I thought food prep workers used gloves - not their bare hands. Will not eat there again. Total revulsion. Would give no stars if I could. I am adding on to this review - went by Faster Bassett, asked to speak to manager, woman at counter said she was a manager. Told her about fingernail in sandwich, had the sandwich & fingernail in plactic bag. No appology, no refund, no compensation, asked if she would check into their food service proceedures, did not take my name, seemed generally annoyed I had brought this to her attention. BOTTOM LINE - I guess if you truely do not care if your food contains human body parts - then check out Faster Bassett. Otherwise AVOID!
The Front has really good beer, just don't go hungry. The food at Faster Basset is way overpriced. Chips and a Tablespoon of Salsa are $6 but besides the overpriced menu the food is very bland with not much thought put into it. If you get a burger you will end up with hard crunchy potato chips, etc. Unless you LOVE Crepes I wouldn't recommend it. I asked a question to the girl taking our order, since she clearly didn't know the answer and lied we ended up with something we really didn't want and since we paid an arm and a leg for it the whole experience (both times) was a let down. After the 3rd time eating there we learned our lesson, eat before you go.
