Windmill Restaurant
Reviews
Not sure about the other reviews here but I have visited The Windmill almost every time I have been in Billings and found the food and service to be exceptional. The new remodel in the bar area and beautiful patio (best in Billings) is great for everyone. Soups made from scratch to some of the best quality steaks I have ever had makes it worth the price. Cheap steak is not good and good steak is not cheap. They also have great fresh fish choices (flown in FRESH) if steak isn't your thing. Competitive Happy Hour and fantastic lunch menu really round this restaurant out.
They use to have giant prawns now they are Red Lobster size, now the price is 27 and it was 23 less than a year ago. A cold pull apart roll compliments your dinner and no more relish tray is also noticed. A hurry up and get out of here attitude is served up also. We have been a customer for along time but no more. Try the Play Inn unless they changed also probably the last place in billings with extra large prawns.
Just excellent. New look to the place is great and food is above average every time.
Probably won't ever go back again. Went on a Monday night and once seated we were not greeted by a server for 15 minutes. Wasn't asked if we wanted appetizers or anything. Didn't come back for our order until another 20 minutes after we got our drinks, and even after I TOLD her I wanted dessert she never came back. Another server had to get us our check. Had to ask other servers for refills on our drinks and everything. Not impressed with service and my Baseball Sirloin was cold.
Been there a couple times. Outdoor patio was a nice afternoon spent. Have had the Baseball Sirloin and the Halibut...both tasted great! Will continue to visit and would recommend.
