Great atmosphere! Great food! These were possibly the best onion rings I have ever had. I just wish I could have heard Muriel play the piano.
Terrible, I paid for an 18oz steak and received a thin piece of meat that couldn't have been more than 8oz. I had to wait two hours for my food and the waitress messed up the order. The place was full of mosquitoes and the waitress never came by the table. I had to walk up to her and ask for the check. I would not recommend this restaurant.
They've got catfish on the table and gospel in the air! Best place to eat in north west Mississippi.
In the shadows of the casinos sits an anachronism, a piece of the 1900s frozen in time. And it was a good time. We lived nearby before the casinos came and we frequented The Hollywood. The casinos almost killed it but it has survived and prospered. Recently (December 2008) we have rediscovered it and now it is on our list of regular places. I enjoy the grilled catfish. It's marinated in a lemon sauce. My wife won't eat anything but the filet. It is so tender and has a wonderful seasoning. Honestly, the filet is as good as Folk's Folly. Enjoy it but don't tell your friends.
Fried catfish, fried okra, and hush-puppies! Awesome!
