Were there on Memorial Day 2013; mid-afternoon. Just travelling through. Food was wonderful. Sometimes you just can't beat a burger from a flat-top. Service was very good, considering how small the staff was -- and one of them her first day on the job. We will stop again if we are ever "in the neighborhood".
Stopped there on my motorcycle, great service, great food! I ordered the chicken strip plate and couldn't believe how big the strips were! I could only eat about half of it! Price was around 6-7$, I was very pleased!
My wife and I have eaten at this restaurant before. We stopped there again as we were passing through on a trip in late February 2009. The atmosphere is small-town-country. The food is delicious, quantity is large, service is prompt and friendly, and the prices are great! We highly recommend this restaurant! Since we are non-smokers we would prefer that the smoking section be moved to the back room so we would not have to walk through the smoking area. I am asthmatic and the smoke bothers me. Obviously, we like it well enough to make this a regular stop when we are traveling through Van Buren. Sherman Shell Springfield, MO
