Service: 2/5 - Dishes were removed in a fast and orderly manner. Was not asked if I wanted more water. Asked if there was any ketchup and she just shook her head (there was some available off to the side of the condiments). Bill came to $7.95, handed her a $10, "Goodbye!". I could be wrong but I think you should let people tip you instead of just short changing them. Food: 2/5 - Some food was fresh, most were sitting out for a while (went at a time when it was not real busy). Garlic bread was a bit overdone. No mayo or tartar sauce for the fish. Fairly good selection. Overall: Not going back. The other buffets in the area are simply better. Timbers is more expensive but better food. Godfathers pizza has a small selection but is cheaper. China King buffet left with me an uneasy feeling stomach and a bad after-taste. I just didn't have the happy, satisfied feeling as I do with other buffets. When you go out to eat, you should leave happy.

I know a lot of people like this place, but I just don't see it. The food is okay, if what you want is the same food you can get at Wal-Mart in the frozen foods section. Not much "Original" Chinese cooking going on here. The food all tastes like it comes in frozen and just heated up. The only good thing is that they have a wide selection of different foods: Pizza, French Fries, Cheese Curds etc that are not Chinese. This place will do if I'm on that end of town and need a quick lunch, but I would not purposely drive there just for the food.

Great food and excellent service

My experience at China King Buffet was not a good one. We went to check out and I had to pay with a credit card. They swiped my card three times because the credit machine appeared to not be working. I told them I hoped I wouldn't be charged more than once, but they said not to worry. Turns out they did charge me three times, and when I told them I was coming in expecting to be paid back, they were very rude and unhelpful and unwilling to give me my money back. I don't recommend this place at all. I come from the twin cities, so maybe I am used to exceptional service and cuisine, but in my opinion there is no excuse for any service or food to be this far subpar. NOT worth the 10 dollars it cost me to eat there. Gross. Not to mention the bathroom was horrifyingly disgusting.

Has really gone downhill, it used to be pretty good but lately has been just bad. Food quality was cut back and stuff sits out a long time now.
