I go there sevral times a year and have always had excellent food and service, granted, when they suddenly get a lot of customers service is a LITTLE slower but not bad enough to gripe. I'll continue going to this great resturant.

I liked how the dinner "specialties" were shrimp, walleye, prime rib or ribeye steak.. That's the first thing I think of when I walk into a "Mexican" restaurant. Fried walleye.. Let everyone else serve that stuff. You're supposed to be Mexican. Also, no pork or carnitas options on the menu. Disappointing..

It was not worth the $100 for 4 of us. Had we known that the beer was $4.50 a bottle, we would have stuck with water. AND it took 15 minutes for us to get a server AND 2 of us had great food the other 2 said it tasted like "box" food. The $8.99 appetizer of jalepeno poppers consisted of 1/2 of a pepper and barely a teaspoon of cream cheese coated in something crunchy and over cooked. Very, very disappointed. We will not return.

About as interesting as what you'd get out of a Jeno's kit. Taco John's is considerably better...

I love this place! Whenever I am in town I have to go here!
