First timers to the Grant house ..Don't worry about stopping here...The friendly staff will wisk you off your feet....As soon as you walk in the grand entrance.....The food was phenomenal....My favorite was the grilled asparagus,the prime,the to-die-for irish potatoes,and the seafood bisque.......Can't wait to go stay the weekend here.....We'll probably not even leave the premises...Just stay in our room til breakfast,lunch,and dinner....Thank you Grant house staff for the conversation and delicious food ......Most relaxing unforgettable meal ever. LOVE LOVE LOVED IT!!!!
Food and service good. Service at times alittle slow. Prices can be spendy but their specials are awesome.
Our rooms were very nice and very comfortable; a nice, homey change to your standard motel for less money than many Super 8's, etc. We stayed in the king suite; my only complaint was that the bathroom had a pedestal sink; true to the decor of the place but....where to put your "stuff"? The microwave and refrigerator are hidden, which we didn't find out until the day we left :) but that was a nice feature as well. The other suite offered a queen sized bed and 2 twins and I thought that would be a GREAT room for parents traveling with children. It is right next to the king suite. We had the breakfast buffet downstairs in the morning and they served dinner until 9pm so the hours were great. I'd love to go back and stay again when I am near the Cities again. This hotel is SO much more relaxing than a standard hotel.
