I love the food! Service is usually very good but sometimes when they are very busy it takes a little longer. Love the waiters/waitresses and they usually know you by name. The coffee and hot chocolate are the best in town!

Food is generally delicious, but the menu never changes. Service is often quite slow - sometimes we wait almost 15 minutes before anybody even NOTICES we have arrived. The few times I have been here around lunchtime, it's so noisy you can't hear well enough to have a conversation. The coffee is truly excellent, however, and the espresso beverages are very authentic - no perverted Starbucks version macchiato here!

Really excellent food. Sometimes the service is slow, but we have to remember this is small town USA and it is OK to have to wait for good food or coffee. Nice atmosphere. They have wifi and comfy spots to sit alone or with large groups or friends. Love their soups and sandwiches. Would definitely recommend. As for the negative review, I would not judge by their one experience. This isn't starbuck's, it a locally owned excellent coffeeshop that really is wonderful in my opinion.

I will never eat here again and I would not recommend it for anyone. Customer service was terrible.. we didn't know whether to wait to be seated but since we weren't greeted we sat ourselves and were asked to move! Then the waitress got our order wrong TWICE. The coffee was burnt and the manager (owner?) was very unfriendly and crabby, and he seemed very stuck-up. To top it off, me and my friends totals were different even though we ordered the same thing. On that note, it was also too expensive. These people just have no clue what they're doing and it was just a bad experience overall.

I have eaten at Cafe 116 MULTIPLE times and have brought various people with me. All have loved it. Only my father did not like it (he is a cheeseburger man...this is NOT your place). It is very much a cafe, with great sandwiches and salads. I have had every salad and about half the sandwiches - they were GREAT! I have only tasted one sandwich I didn't like, and it was only because I did not like all the ingredients but wanted to try it anyway. Every waiter and waitress I have had has been very friendly. And the prices are extremely inexpensive when comparing with other restaurants in Fergus Falls (even Fargo and Minneapolis!) You can order sandwiches and salad for as cheap as a few bucks. Some choice beverages are a bit spendier, though. So I feel bad, for the last person that had a bad experience, but every experience I have had has been great! I go there every chance I get! :)
