The street/tijuana tacos rival tacos in Mexico. If it's too bland, tryTaco Bell.

The tijuana steak tacos are the best I ever had

My husband and I just got home from dinning at El Molcajete, once again I left extremely satisfied. I love the staff. The owner or manager always walks around to make sure everyone is satisfied and really makes you feel important to his business. A fun and light atmosphere with plenty of laughter. We ordered the Fajita for two and couldn't finish it, the chips and awesome salsa, with two LARGE beers all for $31.00 - What a bargain! ....be careful when ordering the large glass beer or cocktail,I think it is a 32oz : ) I have ordered a margarita in the large...omg yum! We discovered this restaurant about 3 years ago, and every time we dine there I am so glad we went! Enjoy!!

The menu spans from authentic Mexican to "Minnesota Mexican" to Tex-Mex. They have something for everybody on the menu, including kids. As a fan of spicier food, I highly recommend choosing the restaurant’s namesake, El Molcajete Yucateco or the Pollo Al Chipotle under the Especialidades de la casa (House Specials) section. You’ll need a to-go box, because you get a lot of food at a reasonable price. Secondly, if you’re a fan of large drinks, the GRANDE margarita and my favorite, Dos Equis Amber beer, come in 34 ounce mugs. When I ordered one with a friend who hadn’t eaten there before, she said shockingly, “Did you order a pitcher?!” The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating and at one time, I knew them all by first name. If you go, and you don’t have children, sit in the bar or, weather permitting, the outdoor patio. The ambiance is very relaxing. Viva El Molcajete!
