I am from Chicago and I drive here just to eat this amazing pizza. It is the best thin crust pizza I have ever had. Period. Come for the pizza and stay for the town and the amazing sunset into Lake Michigan. They make all kinds of amazing pizza flavors and combinations, but the pepperoni is my favorite. I don't know what they do to the sauce or what is so special about the cheese but the flavor is just incredible.
this is the worst pizza I have ever had! made me and my 3 kids sick to our stomachs! the pizza was DRENCHED in pizza sauce, hardly any cheese and it was burnt! smelled horrible and looked even worse ...we all tried it anyways and ended up with upset stomachs the rest of the day!! never again!
A fun little touristy place - I was surprised at how good the pizza was - be sure to try the Hawaiian pizza - it was excellent! I'll be back for more next time I'm in town. I like the red/green service coasters on the tables too - great idea SBP! I love St. Joe's ..
Don't know what all the hype is about. Some of the worst pizza I've ever had. It was slimy and greasy, tasted old. Glorified deep dish Little Caesars in a building with a cool vibe.
As a local I will admit it's good pizza, but it's not mind-blowing like many people claim it is. Usually very busy with long waits due to it's location on the beach and high count of tourists. The BBQ pizza is always good as well as the Irish Nachos, just be prepared for a long wait. If you're a tourist visiting St. Joe drop by and check it out for the full "St. Joseph experience", if you're local order takeout to avoid long waits and the masses.
