Chippewa heaven. I crave this pizza once a week and have dreams of their over-the-top 34 oz beers and mixed drinks. I don't need to tell you that the pizza is the star here. I love mine with feta cheese and a plethora of veggies. This place fills up quickly at night, so if you want a table, get there before the 9 pm rush. And did I mention trivia on Mondays? Or maybe pitcher night on Wednesdays? Book a party for $2 you-call-its. Why did I have to graduate?

Best pizza in Michigan. Graduated from CMU and miss this place dearly. I literally make trips to Mount P just to go to the cabin for pizza.

The pizza (large, tomato + jalapeno) had a pretty good flavor and appearance for a college pizza joint, but the crust was a bit undercooked - we could see the raw portions. We did enjoy it enough to finish. The problem was the service. There were very few customers there (Tuesday, 5:30-6:30pm) but our server seemed quite disinterested. In addition to barely making eye contact, not smiling, and not checking in on us, she spilled water while filling up our glasses. Not only did she not apologize or wipe it up - she didn't even acknowledge it. I got water on my phone, but luckily it was upside down with a case on so there was no damage. It seems that another day would have produced a different result, so I understand the higher reviews. Another concern is that for a college location in Michigan, it was sad to see there were no craft beers on tap, just the standard Bud/Miller/Coors crap. A place like this is perfect for Dark Horse, Bell's, Founders, Great lakes, and especially the local brews.

Hands down my favorite place to go in Mount Pleasant for food or drinks. The service is friendly, their pizza, cabin sticks, jalapeno bread, and basically anything else you order from the menu is top notch, and you can tell that the entire operation is managed well. I always look forward to going to the Cabin, and will frequent this establishment as long as it is open.

Looking for great local pizza. Had to go by other reviews on Urbanspoon from other customers to actually try this pizza place. Have had twice the red sauce with bacon, mushrooms, garlic, black olives and feta pizza- it was grrrrr8 both times! It's fabulous hot and just as great cold later. The BEST pizza we have had!
