Good simple food in a friendly environment.
My siblings and our "significant others" and some friends were on a motorcycle trip around the UP. It rained on the last leg of our trip and we were looking for someplace warm and dry to get something to eat, dry off and wait out the rain. My brother found Floyd's purely by accident, but we were all pleasantly surprised. The food was great, the price was right and Floyd and his staff made us feel like good friends he hadn't seen in a long time! If you're ever in Manistique, you'd be missing a great opportunity if you don't stop in. Tell him the "bikers from Chicago and other places" sent you! You won't be sorry! Thank you Floyd and your charming and patient wait staff!
A great local restaurant! At Floyd’s Family Restaurant, the service and food were great. A very good value, too. The owner, Floyd, is very friendly and treated us like family. There is also an old jukebox with great music that our family & friends loved. Floyd's is a must stop if you're in Manistique.
